Project Description:
Scope of works included the excavation and remediation of site soil, fabrication and erection of steel access walkways, timber decks, dry stone walls, asphalt pavements and mass landscaping. As the site is World Heritage Listed, the works required specific work methods to comply with the archaeological consent conditions. All materials, plant and equipment where required to be transported to site via barge, with most of the landscape elements completed by hand due to access constraints and protection of heritage elements.
